TRANSPORTING YOUR PET
We will pick up from veterinarians' offices in Pekin daily at no cost. If your veterinary clinic is out-of-town, we charge a $50 transfer fee.
We can also pick up your pet from your residence for $100. We will make arrangements to pick up your pet at your residence upon request Monday through Saturday and will respond within a two-hour time period. We are not available for after-hours transfer service.
We will strive to return your pet's cremated remains within 48 hours Monday through Friday.
Cremation Fee
This fee includes cremation, the processing and preparation of the cremated remains for placement in an urn. All cremations are performed individually.
- Small Private Cremation (up to 30 pounds): $100
- Medium Private Cremation (31-60 pounds): $175
- Large Private Cremation (61 pounds and over): $225
- Police Canines and Military Canines: No cost
Witnessing the Cremation
Witnessing is defined as accompanying the pet to the point of placement into the cremation chamber. Our cremation equipment does not provide the capability to actually witness the process of cremation. Scheduling will need to be arranged between Preston-Hanley Pet Crematory and the pet owner.
There is no fee for witnessing your pet's cremation.
